Riding at Rempstone

FIRST EVENING

Arrive at your B&B late afternoon and settle into your room. Then find a restaurant or pub for a relaxing dinner in Corfe Castle just five minutes away or Wareham or Swanage, either of which can be reached by car in 20 minutes.

You will stay at a local recently renovated Georgian farmhouse, or another local B&B with similar facilities

FIRST RIDING DAY

8.45 Arrive at Rempstone stables. Just a few minutes drive from your B&B.
9.0 * Three hour beach ride. (October - April) One hour there through heathland and forest, 45 minutes on the beach and one and a half hours back by a different route.
12.0 Take yourself off for a pub lunch in Corfe Castle.
2.15 Arrive back at Rempstone Stables and mount up for
2.30 A one hour forest ride
3.30 Return to your B&B for siesta, shower, change, ready for dinner, which you can enjoy in the many local pubs or restaurants.

SECOND RIDING DAY

9.45 Arrive at Rempstone stables. Bags packed in your car. Alternatively you may leave them at reception at your B&B to pick up later.
10.00 Two hour heath ride
12.0 Off for a pub lunch in Corfe Castle.
2.15 Arrive back at Rempstone Stables and mount up for
2.30 The final one hour ride
3.30 Say goodbye to staff and horses and head for home.

*BEACH RIDE

The beach ride can be very fast and long, therefore only experienced riders will be allowed on the beach. You may be assessed for your capability and the beach ride may be refused.

It's possible to ride on the beach at any time of day for the 7 months from October to April.

During May and June the programme changes to a one hour ride in the morning and a 3 hour ride to and on the beach starting at 6pm.

From July to September it is not possible to ride on the beach at any time. During these months the programme changes to a 2 hour ride in the morning and a 2 hour ride in the afternoon.

Children are not allowed on the beach ride. An exception can be made for 15-17 year old experienced riders.
